Operation Rescue Puppy

On the 11 of Mac 2007 at about 8.00 o’clock Akka (Nava), her friend Guna and me decided to rescue a suspect discovered hiding at house No.4, Jalan 14/1 J Taman Cheras Jaya, Balakong for the past one week and find a new home. Details of the suspects as follows:

Name : PUPPY

Age : About 3-4 months old

Color : Whitish brown with soft fur.

Height : Short

Sex : Female

Breed : Unknown


Details of the event:

8.15 : Found Puppy running around at house No2.

8.20 : Committee was set up to rescue Puppy from the neighbors house (who happen to be Malay). Committee was lead by akka a.k.a Chief. Chief asked us to call and send messages to various friends and family members to find new home for Puppy.

8.25 : Message was send and replied but unsuccessful … except for one call…from Linie. Her father wants the puppy only if it is male. Meanwhile, Chief gave me and Guna the task to capture Puppy to find out its sex as Linie's fathers friend preferred Male.

8.40 : Puppy was very smart. Refused to give in and plyed hide and seek. But finally after trying many different ways, he finally gave in to Rusty’s cookies. At last, Puppy was captured. Puppy was confirmed to be female. Sigh!

8.50 : Puppy need new home now. Linie called again to inform her father doesn’t want the Puppy. But instead Murali’s friend decided to take the Puppy. Thank god. Alas, Puppy found new home.

8.55 : Committee agreed to keep Puppy till tomorrow. Chief gave me the task to bathe Puppy. Unfortunately, one committee member was not happy with the decision made by the Chief. He decided to take matters on his own. While I was bathing Puppy, Rusty tried to attack Puppy. As matter was getting worse, Chief decided it was best for Puppy to be transferred ASAP. Tonight!

9.00 : Chief called Linie to inform Puppy will be transported tonight. Linie agreed. Chief decided it was best I drove and Guna accompany me, while she will stay behind to explain to appa and amma. She had better communication skills.

915 : Puppy was put in Kelisa and was driven away.

9.30 : Puppy was not use to travel by car as Rusty. Got car sick and vomited, and again and again. Had to stop in Brickfield to get tissue to wipe the car. The car was stinking with Rusty’s food. Yuck!

9.45 : Journey continued to Bukit Beruntung. Drove at 120 km per hour. If only appa knew I would be dead meat. Puppy was very quite.

10.15 : Reached Linie’s house. Gave Puppy, waved good-bye and left. I miss Puppy and only wish Puppy could have stayed at least another day….

10.30 : Chief called. Appa and amma reached home. They were so angry. Chief had to lie that we drove to Ampang and not Bukit Beruntung. Chiefs explanation was not accepted.

10.35 : Chief called to inform the situation. Ask us to carry on with the lie. Unfortunately appa slept before we reached home.

11.15 : Reached home safely. OPERATION RESCUE PUPPY accomplished.

Few days later, Murali called to inform Puppy and Rinesh (Murali's son) was best of friend. Unfortunately Puppy owner came to get her. Puppy has new home now.
